What is the difference between acceptance and non-reactivity?

Acceptance and non-reactivity have similarities, but they are also different.

For instance, when meditating, you may be able to resist reacting to an itch on your forehead or nose by not scratching it, but this doesn’t necessarily mean that you have accepted it.

On the other hand, you may accept that you feel pain in your back, but you might still move to improve your concentration.
