How do I choose 5 situations to avoid if I have many?

If you’re struggling to choose five situations, here’s a helpful method.

First, make a list of 10 to 12 situations you typically avoid.

Next, choose five situations from this list that you think cause you an incremental level of distress.
For instance, going out in the dark (20%), speaking with the neighbour about his tree (35%), socializing (60%), speaking in public (85%), and trying to start a relationship (100%).

Keep in mind that while five situations are the minimum recommended for exposure in MiCBT, you can add more situations if you want.
